Redknapp reckons... They play great football, a bit like Blackpool, but I do think they are better equipped defensively, more physical individually and probably less naive than Blackpool were. I don't think they will be quite as attacking and, as a result, I can't see them leaving themselves so open. Central figure: Brendan Rodgers will keep his players heads up I'd be lying if I said I'd seen a lot of Danny Graham, but his goalscoring record was excellent for Watford and if a guy can put the ball in the net - which he clearly can - he's always worth taking a gamble on. Swansea have a lot like Graham, players that have not had the opportunity to play in the Premier League and will want to take that chance. Some will shine, some will do OK and others won't be up to it. Scott Sinclair will be their gem. He's quick, he's explosive and he scores goals but this is a big step up for him. Their home games will be so important. It's a cracking stadium and the fans have to stick with their team because there will be times when it's not going their way and they are getting turned over - even at home. Everyone has to stay together because that will be a big help to the players individually. If they do that, that's half the battle won. The gaffer: I think he's a good manager. He's probably sick-to-death of the Mourinho comparisons, but he is a young, studious manager who likes his team to attack. He's a nice guy too, and not the sort to lay into his players in private or public. He is more likely to put an arm round them, keeps them together and that will be important as they adjust to life in the Premier League. Like QPR and Norwich, they will have to get used to losing this season, but he strikes me as a level-headed guy, which is what he'll need to be. He will encourage his players even when it's not going their way and they will stick to their passing principals. Rodgers also organises his sides well but encourages that little bit of individual flair. Swansea should be good to watch, if nothing else. Will flourish because: Scott Sinclair will be their gem. He's quick, he's explosive and he scores goals but this is a big step up for him. Premier League defenders will be as quick as he is and a lot cleverer than he's used to, so he has to find a different way. He will, like Theo Walcott, have some poor games, but he does have the ability to be a hit. Will fail if: If they overplay. They will need to learn very quickly that you have to be direct, even if you pass the ball on the deck, in the Premier League. They will be put under immense pressure in every game and they need to be able to make sure they can shut up shop if they do go 1-0 up in games. The finish: I think they'll stay up. I like their manager and I do think they've probably got the best squad of the three sides that have come up. Of course it's going to be very hard and they need a good start, but I'd back them to be in the Premier League next season BUT whatever happens on Monday - Lets show how loud and proud we are to follow the Jacks !!!! Sign our hearts out and keep our heads held high regardless of the result. There will be many who want to see us fail !! I just want to see passion and some reality, for the task ahead will be a challenge to the players and the supporters. We have seen the dark side of football when we hit rock bottom but remember, we are where we are on merit and now we are hitting the top.. Enjoy the ride and show the Swansea pride.
