    8.02pm: Peter Walker in Catford:

    Big crowd of few hundred youths here (Catford is about a mile or so from Lewisham centre) now. Police in riot gear, lots of taunts and scuffles.

    some bloke got shot by police, led to a peaceful demonstration at police station in tottenham which was quickly highjacked by anarchists and general lowlife scum wanting to smash up shop windows and steal stuff whilst also setting buildings, vans on fire and attacking the police. This then spread to other areas of London and is now onto the 3rd night.

    Poor Boris has had to cancel his holiday and is flying back tomorrow! <yikes>
