    Rochdale have certainly had some peculiar results and mix of fortunes of late. But now those fatal words.....even we are not bad enough to have five knocked pass us,

    I don't think we won at their place since 2009 and that I don't really see that changing. At the same time, Rochdale are where they are in the league for a reason...

    Rochdale 2-2 Gills (whoseverfit)...more seriously....(Dempsey, Oliver, Newby 2)

    Good Morning all. Wet and Wild here in the Algarve today so looking forward to a day of footie.
    Going back over the history of these two clubs the last time we won at theirs was my birthday 2009, 2nd May.
    We have lost our last 3 games against teams who love passing the ball. NOT HOOFBALL like us. If Dale does the same we are up the creek without a point.
    We seem to think this long ball game suits us, it doesn't we need to learn possession and passing, Samuels injury came from running forward and looking backwards for the ball. If we can learn to pass, things will change again. Not sure who we have left to play for us today.
    I had a dream we won 2-0 Akinde and Dempsey, It was a dream, my selection is based on the facts and past history.

    Come on grumpygit - 'rub it in!'..... even I wouldn't have forecast a defeat - but, to be honest, I would have been happy with no goals !
