Saturday 3pm Smallwood has to come back in. FACT Magennis too. Grant McCann is set to welcome back three players ahead of this Saturday’s trip to face Rochdale. The Tigers’ Head Coach confirmed that Richie Smallwood and Tom Eaves are set to return from injury ahead of the journey to the Crown Oil Arena, with the duo fit again after lengthy lay-offs. Josh Magennis will also return for the Tigers this weekend after missing the Fleetwood match due to international duty with Northern Ireland. The only absentee this weekend is forward James Scott, who continues his recovery from an injury picked up against Northampton Town in September Got to get the show back in the road here. I know we’re all going to say it but terry really needs to Alter his plan when things aren’t going well. Elder needed help but was hung out to dry. That was poor management. Onwards and upwards City
This should be 3 points, but with Terry at the helm, anything can happen. Is it time to give Jones and McLoughlin a start in the middle of the back 4, as they did well against Leeds, and both Burke and De Wijs look out of sort?
Oh Lancashire (oh Lancashire) ... is full of **** (is full if ****) ... Oh Lancashire is full of **** ... it’s full of ****, **** & more ****. Oh Lancashire is full on of ****. City 3 nowt.
Will be interesting to see if Rochdale use the same tactic as Fleetwood last week. Having seen it to be effective and city unable to deal with it then that is what any sensible coach will have been practicing all week.
Not for me. I know Burke and de Wijs weren't perfect through the 4 clean sheets, but they still achieved them so would be premature to change on basis of one poor result. I also think it's about defending as a team. Seems like we did that quite well before the Fleetwood game but they found us out.
Whatever the starting 11, the real test is how we performed after last week, if it was just a bump in the road as our lovely grant said or another performance that mirrors last season. If it's the latter then grant really hasn't changed anything. I'm going for last week being a bump and 3-1 city

Always a big game after a bad defeat, important we get something from this hopefully a win. Not just McCann but the players on that pitch need to show a lot more than they did last week. Win by one goal will do nicely.
If it walks like a Match Day Thread and talks like a Match Day Thread then the chances are it's a Match Day Thread. Occam's razor, innit. We need to lead the cloghoppers on a merry dance and bamboozle them with our silky, twinkletoed, high intensity passing game. Three none or three one.
