REPORTED Hull City target Robin Olsen has admitted holding talks with the Tigers about a possible transfer in January.

The Malmo goalkeeper is out of contract later this year, and has previously hinted at a move to the Premier League.

Olsen played a vital role as Malmo clinched the Allsvenskan champions’ title in 2014.

But speaking to fobtollskanalen.se, Olsen said that whilst the interest is flattering, Malmo blocked any sort of switch to the KC Stadium, with the two clubs not agreeing on a price.

“I must respect my contract with MFF, it’s them who decide what I should do when I’m under contract,” said Olsen.

“There are mixed feelings, but you cannot walk around being sour.

“But it is great and flattering to know a Premier League club is interested.

“I can (move in the Summer) but it’s not something I thought about. I just want to focus on here.

“You never know, it can go fast in football.”

From the City International Facebook page...

    David Jönsson
    - Hm, I'm from Malmö. It's a bit risky to buy him. He's not better than Mcgregor. But he's young so he can develop. I would not pay more than a million for him. Malmö got to Champions league last year which will make the prices a bit higher though.

Maybe Mac and Harper are both leaving and he's back-up to another newbie?

David Jönsson - He's young and talented with good feet. He was good against bigger teams as well. European teams. The Swedish league is not the best in the world so it was more interesting to see him against teams like Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Olympiakos. In those games he was pretty good actually.

More likely than not - especially as his partner & child have already moved from Hull back to Scotland

I know youtube doesn't show a fair representation of someone but this is a great double save

A Petr Cech signing in the Summer for somewhat under £10m would be where the bar should be set.

Id like to see Bill Hamid looked at as a back up keeper as well. A year younger than Olsen, MLS Keeper of the year, Future US #1, and would be a cheep signing both in salary as well as the transfer fee.

As I said before, we should shell out the money for a bundesliga keeper.

Timo Horn of Koln is someone I've always thought was a good young keeper.

Would probably merit a bit of dosh though.

It's exactly who I'd go for. He's brilliant. If we want quality we are going to have to shell out for it. Him or Zieler at Hannover.

He's free in the Summer isn't he? Sounds a bit annoyed he didn't get his move to the EPL so we might be able to nab him.
