    But it does as if he'd waited and maybe sold for 15m or so that may have got him closer to the recovery of monies invested, sorry gifted, and any reasonable Allamesque financial return so that the club can be sold. We will never know.

    If we'd have set the price at £12m, Liverpool would have paid it, it's still cheap in the current market.

    I think Maguire went for market value given the circumstances, Robbo a bit less but was more than made up for by Clucas going way above market value.
