He has to be the No1 target for the Swansea city board, Chelsea have not made him manager, and are unlikely to in my view, but failing Di Matteo, here are my top 10 list!

    1) Roberto Di Matteo

    2) Gianfranco Zola

    3) Gus Poyet

    4) Ole Gunnar Solskjaer

    5) Chris Hughton

    6) Roberto Martinez

    7) Lee Clark

    8) Rafa Benitez

    9) Michael Laudrup

    10) Brian Flynn

Please don't let valleygirl catch you starting another thread. She'll be furious and probably blow a gasket in her head.

Good choices. I'd also go with the two Robertos. RDM then RM.

What about the Dutch guy who was Speed`s assistant, Raymond Van What`sisname. Don`t shoot me down, it`s only a suggestion.

Chris Coleman needs to go on the list. Local boy and did well for the most part at Fulham - similar club and kept them in the Premier.

Problem is we all want to see the same style of football being played and to be honest a British manager just wouldn't do.

Frankly i think we should be looking further a field,Spain for instance.

Chris Coleman on record saying he'd never manage his home town team because his family still live here.

I've had a little look at the available managers list on the LMA website. http://www.leaguemanagers.com/

It's depressing. Is Swansea ready for Johnny Hollins to stand cross armed in front of the dugout in shorts bearing those nobbly knees again?

Gary McAllister? Tony Adams? Paul Ince? John Barnes? Iain Dowie?

We definitely need to poach somebody's manager or coach if we're going to get anywhere!
