    A lot of those on this board may not really remember him, but if you are of a certain age, like me, you remember watching The Man From U.N.C.L.E. on TV as a kid and watching him in the original The Magnificent Seven

    He was 83 so a good innings, but always seemed to be a gentleman both on and off screen.

    I watched the man from uncle second time round and these guys were the reason.

    Great actor.

    60s shows and 70s shows were great cos i grew up on ateam and such drivel (that i loved) but a few of the 60s and 70s shows like the man from uncle were superb.

    The guy himself and his partner were just fantastic
