"SkySports_Teddy Teddy Wood Robert Snodgrass is the subject of interest from Norwich, Leicester and West Ham this evening" Would be a great signing but surely he'd choose Norwich?
Be careful there is alot of sad people on twitter who pretend to work for Sky sports just the boost their followers. If he is legit then Sky will say something in the next few minutes
DuncanCastles Duncan Castles (Times Journalist) Blackburn Rovers have failed with an approach for Robert Snodgrass. The Scotland international will play for Leeds Utd tonight. #BRFC #LUFC
According to the Sun, he's handed in a transfer request. SunSportNow SunSport Now Blackburn fail in a bid to land Robert Snodgrass, who is thought to have handed in a transfer request at Leeds. Norwich also interested EDIT: Maybe not coming to us then. Still be interesting to see where he ends up. Seems like it will be in the PL. Good news for us (and Hull) is that it significantally harms Leeds' play-off chances. Can see the 'Bates Out' mob having a lot to say about this.
Snodgrass will get a prem move at the end of the season. If Ken Bates stays at Leeds long enough they will be back in league 1 soon, they cant carry on to lose their best players and not replace them
He must know he is public enemy number 1 up there. Why does he continue to test the fans? I dont think it will happen but if SG did leave then who would they get to fill the role?
SG is a great manager, Hes had to make do with 32 loan players in 3 years! since 2004 leeds united have had 64 loan players, received £22.5 million (that we know of) for players spending £2.5 million on players! What other manager could work with that? Leeds United are hindering Grayson career
Thats why i ask really...do you think SG will reach a breaking point and leave? How would the fans treat him if he did?
I think the fans are past caring now, if He left it would be understandable but Grayson is a massive Leeds fan himself so would take a lot for him to leave! Howson - spent long enough here in the lower leagues deserved a shot at premiership Same goes for Lees,White,Snodgrass,Lonergan,McCormack! Leeds fans are voting with their feet, first time ive ever seen attendance below 20 thousand last night.
Proud I tend to agree with the others on here - if you look at Grayson's rather short managerial career he has achieved two promotions from League 1 with limited or, in Blackpool's case, no funds, and made both of those teams perennial play-off contenders - at the very least that stacks up with what Nigel has achieved - and look how bullish we are now about Nigel! - I think it is also fair to say that whilst Holloway took them to the Prem, the foundations had already been laid by Grayson. What I do agree with is that without at least some investment it will be very difficult to take Leeds up - just look at how disadvantaged Grayson is when compared to the amounts spent by West Ham, Southampton and indeed us in this transfer window.
I don't think Proud is questioning Grayson. I'm pretty sure he meant that Bates should be going, not Simon.
