Anybody watching the Dortmund v Madrid game? This guy would be perfect for us, forget £50m Falcao, this guy is amazing.

Of course. With his contract up next summer he'd be considerably cheaper than any other striker of his quality. Get rid of Torres, free up room and wages for this lad. That Gundogan looks mustard too!

I really can't see that. Dortmund would have to be morons. I said the same before Gotze joined but are Dortmund really going to let two of their best go to their bitter rivals?

That performance probably put another 10 million on him.

They may not have much choice ,he wants out. I would love him at the bridge tho. He's big, strong , good on the ball and is a deadly finisher.

Maybe they've been asking Arsenal for some transfer advice?
Gotze bought out his own contract, from what I've read, so they didn't have any choice in the matter. Selling them Lewandowski would just make their next campaign a formality, though.

Unless the spanish teams can pull something miraculous out the bag, seems we are looking at an all german final.

Bayern deserve it really, have come so close in recent seasons and fallen at the last hurdle (pretty much like us till last season).

Thought it was a release clause?

There's a few stories re Lewandowski, it'll be Bayern or the Prem.

Not bothered either way but nature of the victory over Malaga suggests Dortmund's name is on the trophy.

Yeah, he told them that he was leaving to join Bayern and that the clause would be met. Dortmund never even spoke to Bayern about it. Guardiola's new side were going to leave it until after tonight's game.

Their bitter rivals are Schalke and Santana is apparently going to be the first player to cross the divide in X amount of years. Not going to be a great summer for them.

I agree about Lewandowski, he's also a better fit for our system and younger, but we will do the Chelsea thing and go for the expensive glamour signing as opposed to the underrated player, everything that's wrong with how this club is wrong.

Oscar could easily be the same type of player for us as Gundogan is for Dortmund.

Schalke moreso, but Bayern are also bitter rivals. Hence the amount of vitriol Gotze has received from Dortmund fans!

Lewandowski would be perfect in our system, imagine Hazard, Mata, Schurrle and Lewandowski. Agree re Oscar too, just needs to bulk up a bit.

Yeah of course, it can't be easy for them. Bayern are the German version of United but with class and dignity.

That front 4 would be unstoppable, especially with Oscar and Ramires in the MF <yikes>

Forget Lewandanski, we only buy "brand" names. Our owner wears his clothes with the labels on the outside. It's a Russian thing, flaunt it, make it flashy, only the biggest, cover it with glitter, only buy diamond encrusted watches.
Discreet and clever is for the French and Germans, flashy and tacky is the Russian way.

There have been some solid rumours for about six weeks that Lewandowski to Bayern has been agreed. Tonight spanish paper Marca announces that it is in fact done. One year left on his contract and will cost aprox the same as United paid for RVP. Still good business as Lewandowski is five years younger than Van Persie.

As a fan of Bayern I'm actually sad to see two of Dortmunds finest depart, the balance of power getting more and more uneven. When what has driven Bayern to their recent success has been the strong competition from Dortmund. Same mistakes from the past are being repeated. But there is so much talent at hand in Germany now and with the amount of money Dortmund gets from these sales I'm confident they'll land on their feet. They have the most charismatic coach right now in Klopp, fantastic leader and nurturer of talent.
