Just saw on ssn that he has suspected meningitis. Hope it's not a serious form and that it won't be too debilitating. Good luck to him on his recovery, QPR fan here.

    Grinning Cur
thanks buddie, I've just seen it too! "Suspected"? My daughter is a Nurse and has just told me that "suspected" usually means a YES in medical circles.
I'm sure Peter Crouch's wife had it mid to end of last season? Crouch himself was also hospitalised for a few days.

Let's all hope Our "Rock the mighthy HUTH" isn't affected too badly by this. IF it's diagnosed early the better the outcome and the quicker the recovery!

GOOD Luck for the season <ok>

http://www.stokecityfc.com/news/article/huth-update-299971.aspx?German international suffering from viral meningitis

STOKE CITY have today received encouraging news about the condition of defender Robert Huth after he was rushed into hospital earlier this week.

Further tests on the German international defender have revealed that he is suffering from viral meningitis, which is the milder form of the illness.

The 27-year-old will remain in hospital for the next few days while he completes a course of antibiotics, but he is progressing well in his recovery.

Although it is too early to predict the length of Huth’s absence, it is likely to be at least two weeks before he is available to return to action.

Firstly I hope he recovers well.

Secondly, I hope its bloody quick because I cant stand the chance of giving TP the opportunity to fuk up the back 4 like he did for the start of our last campaign.

    Get well soon!

Ha ha. Got to love Huth. Seeing humour in his illness. He posted this on his Twitter:

Update: still very weak, even Matty Etheringon would hurt me in a tackle
