Robbo to West Ham

Blackburn goalkeeper Paul Robinson is set to link up with former manager Sam Allardyce at West Ham.

Hammers reserve stopper Stephen Henderson will move the other way in a part-exchange deal.

The 33-year-old former England international has been dropped for youngster Jake Kean at Ewood Park.

Allardyce was at Blackburn between 2008- 2010 and Robinson was his first choice goalkeeper.

Now he will be vying for a first team place with Jussi Jaaskelainen at Upton Park.

Being totally unbiased about it I think it's a good move.

 

Allardyce has worked with both Jussi and Robbo so it'll be interesting to see who he favours if Robbo joins them.
Hopefully he won't, I'd hate to see him there but he does deserve to be in the Premier League, great keeper and great guy.

 

Hope he does well and gets them relegated.

If we had Robbo in goal and Dawson at the back, people might start mistaking us for Bolton.
