My kids got back from being out of the house for a few hours at the cinema today, to find the house a tip, and the telly, laptops, games consoles, and jewelry all gone. ****ers. On the plus side, at least nobody was hurt, it was just stuff that we've lost, and we'll hopefully get that replaced off the insurance. Bloody annoying though. The police got some prints, so hopefully they might just catch them, but I'm not holding out too much hope of that. If they do get caught, does anyone know, would I get told who they were?
**** mate. I remember when I was a kid and we were robbed and they took the video which had my Turtles video in and I was gutted. It will upset the kids more than anything. Bastards eh. Now mate. Personal information that could be stored on the nicked devices. Have you changed all your passwords? Because if there's anything on them there's software and people who can retrieve it.
Sorry to hear mate. Luckily I/we've never had anything like that happen to us. Main thing is that no one was caught in the crossfire/in the way.
Scumbags marra.... And you don't want know who they are, you'd get more for rightly battering the twats than they get for being robbing bastards. We once got robbed on Xmas Eve, it broke my heart Good luck
Know how you feel as it happened to us twice scum of the earth. Also had my car stolen last year and was gutted as I loved that car.
Sorry mate but disagree. I hope you find the ****ers and give them a a royal ****ing good kicking; hurt them real bad. Fortunately it's never happened to me but if it ever did, retribution would be mine
Agree, he'd feel much better for doing it... The kids not so chuffed when daddy gets sent to prison for 6 months like! Don't get me wrong... I'd want to batter the filthy scumbag bastards but the courts are on their side!
Me and my step father chased 3 lads who were breaking into my brothers car. We caught one of them and my step father rang the police, we were still smashing this kid when the cops turned up and they sat across the road and give us a minute. Locked up the lad and didn't even bother listening to his complaints of assault. When the copper came to the house for a statement, it turned out his car had been broken into before, so he had proper hatred for them @Neil You will find out who they are and be informed of their court date.
****, turns your stomach inside out to know you have had strangers in your house going through your possessions. Hope you do find out who they are and the police catch them. This is what i think public flogging should be brought back in for, teach the thieving bastards a proper lesson, oh and yes...the person they stole from would be the one doing the lashing if wanting to do so.
****ing disgusting! I'm sorry you've had your home invaded by scum like this. It really does take some real low life to do this and I can only hope justice (I know which would be preferred) prevails and they get everything that's coming to them.
Couple of years ago I remember reading a story where a burglar had tripped over kids shoes on the stairs of a house he had broken into and broke his leg - he sued and won for loss of earnings FFS! My brother manages a fishing tackle shop in Sunderland and it got robbed and the lad who did it looked straight at the camera - police said the "image was not clear enough" - it was like a passport photo! Police and courts don't care nowadays. It's not about catching people any more - just about filling in the right box on the right form! As for the OP - I can't empathise at all as, luckily, it's never happened to me in my adult days and when I was a kid the thieves stole takings from my mothers shop from the safe so it didn;t really affect me! But fair to say they are ****ers of the highest order.
Scumbags!!!! Not had my house broken into (touch wood) but had my car broken into. My wife made the mistake of leaving her handbag in the car and it had various presents in that she had received from her first mothers day (engraved make up box, personalised key ring, personalised make up mirror etc) They were not expensive but as they were from her 6 month old baby they were priceless. It would have been obvious to the thief how sentimental they were but that didn't stop them. My wife was devastated, as was I. They also took an in car dvd player but not the sat nav??? For some reason they had dropped in our car about half a dozen cd's and a pair of sunglasses which wernt ours, they must have been from a previous victim earlier that night. We had forensics over but despite our suspicions of who it was the finger prints didnt match. I still think it was them like, a couple of junkie lesbians who lived a few doors down but dont anymore thank god!
Exactly. It's the same with my wife's jewelry. None of it is exactly high end stuff, and I expect they'll sell it for peanuts, but it's the things that have been presents, or were bought on particular holidays etc that have sentimental value to us. One thing that I'd advise anyone after talking to the insurance company this morning, is to make an inventory of anything that you've got that might be stolen, with photos too. They want a full list of every item that's gone, and I'm sure that we'll never remember half of what we had.
Hope you and the kids can quickly get over this, its easy to say but hard to do, but the best thing is to put on a brave face, especially in front of the kids who will be devastated. As for the scum who did it, you can be sure, this, or worse, will happen to them repeatedly.
Had some stuff nicked from the car the other day, and have been told it would be thieves using a device that reads the remote door locking signal, they do this by sitting in wait in super market car parks and other similar locations.
I will slaughter any **** who breaks into my house & bathe in their ****ing blood. Every room is armed. Cricket & baseball bats - make sure you have balls to go with them. That way you can't get done, even the copper telt me that.
