Not saying he wasn't a good player but I thought he looked a bit leggy last term with Spurs.
Where would you play him mate? A switch to 4-4-2 would mean either playing Tarbs out wide or as one of the centre midfielders?

His wages would be an issue as well - I remember hearing last season that he was on 65k?

have to admit to not seeing much footie in the last eight years..
sky has only shown the premiership until this season
even then championship highlights consisted of a half hour highlights show.
certainly wasnt getting sky sports to watch man utd or chelseahehe.
will have it by the start of this season though
not sure we could afford his wages anyway.
what i have seen of tarbs, he always looked good coming in from out wide

Keane wouldn't have to mean a change of formation. He could very easily play as one of the attacking midfielders. As could Campbell. I'm not sure I really want either!

Being Irish my opinion is not neutral here. I think that Robbie would be a super buy for us. He is the 5th highest scorer in the history of the Prem. He has scored more international goals than any other Irish or British striker. He is still playing very well at international level and runs his socks off in every game. He can also play a natural 9 or 10 which would give us lots of options. Dont worry about his pace, he never had any. He plays with his head not his legs.

Well swords, no need to guess where you are from. Born and grew up in Kilkenny. Living in Monaghan for the last 15 years, but currently in Lebanon for next 13 months.

Sports News Ireland are obviously running about two months behind the rest of the world. With DJC in official talks with the club this is a non starter.
