£250,000 isn't a real problem for Gills - nor the wages !
Don't forget that we've had a lot of money from the sale of Gazza and the sell-ons and appearance money from Jarvis & Bertrand respectively. These figures could have seen us bring in about £ 3M ( maybe even a tiny bit more )
From what I saw of Findley at Port Vale it would be money well spent - he appears to be more skillful than Weston ( yes !! ) and just as quick. I suspect that we may only keep Findley until Weston recovers from his hamstring injury.
 
lets calm down a little bit on the guy, yes he played well but a certain mr kuffour came in on loan and lit up the squad and everyone was clammering for him to be signed perminantly. lets just see how he gets on in the next couple of games and hopefully it will work out. as for the money i think3 might be a bit low actually if the rumours about how much we got for gazza were true, plus we didnt really pay out much in the summer window so should be some funds avaliable
