Shame if so. Brady encapsulates what the team is about, I think. Fair enough, we've dealt with his absence well, like we have with Aluko, but he's such a good player it's a great shame. Still hopeful we'll see him fit and raring to go for the run-in.
I wish him well, but I moved on from him some time ago; his latest re-emergence was never going to be anything other than a false dawn. Get us safe, get him fit, put him in the shop window and sell him.
I really hope we don't sell one of our brightest, youngest talents just because he's had a frustrating, lingering injury this year. He's worth far more than that and deserves better.
We're running a football team, not a sporting clinic. When he has played he has been far from consistent, not really making the potential he offered. The left wing has been a constant problem, so resolve it - that is what football is about; unless you are prepared to tolerate the risk of relegation because you carry (expensive) passengers?
I think Bruce likes Brady, I don't expect him to be going anywhere. If nothing else, he's contracted to us on a big wage until 2016.
I guess I must rate him much more highly than you, then. His pre-injury form looked excellent, and I don't think what we've seen of him since he first picked up the injury is a true reflection of him as a player. If the injury can be sorted out before August and there are no long-term effects, then surely he'd be one of our most important players?
