Looks such a different player to the one that left us last season. He looks a much more mature player and doesn't try to do the fancy stuff all the time. One of our star players in recent weeks and maybe Steve Bruce has had a big part to play in bringing Brady's game on.

Agreed, he has more freedom and is playing brilliantly. His partnership with Quinn is a joy to watch and he puts in some marvelous runs.

He also puts in some wicked crosses! If only we had someone who could win a header... <whistle>

The way he's playing at the moment we'd be daft not to.

Massive difference from last season. Looks physically much stronger and has a great partnership with Quinn. Both were brilliant today. Hope Bruce can make it permanent in January.

In fairness he did some fancy stuff today but it came off really well. Also there was a moment against Leicester when he, Aluko and someone else all did 3 fancy tricks in a row keeping the ball and eventually we won a corner but it looked like we were just taking the piss.

As for his crosses, he doesn't even need someone to head them. Half the time it's on the floor just asking to be smashed in but no one is there. Amazing how many crosses we waste. I remember when we first re-signed Brady someone on here said he's a lot better crossing from the left than the right and they were spot on. From the right he always overpowers it but his crossing from the left rivals Elmo's.

Weird thing is, if we do sign him; What on earth happens to Dudgeon?!

I was dead against bringing him back in but I'm prepared to admit I was wrong. To be fair obviously I was basing my opinion on previous performances but he looks 50 times the Roy of the Rovers glory boy he was last season. He's improved probably even more than Jay, both of which are big compliments to the manager.

Be used as cover I imagine; Dudgeon started the season incredibly well so if he can prove to Brucey that he can be a squad member then so be it. We'll have him covering one side and Rosie covering the other. Good strength in depth that!

He has been fantastic - covers the whole left side of the pitch every single game, puts in a lot of effort, and has bags of class too.

Some of his moves with Quinn (and others) are just telepathic. Really hope that we can sign him up.

I seem to remember a shedload of people slagging him off like there's no tomorrow last season.

Now he's proving them all wrong. A very talented footballer who is really showing maturity now. He has learned well. Hope he becomes ours!

Yeah, I was one of them basing my comments on what I saw. What else are we supposed to do? I would argue with anyone that he was a liability last season. He's looking very, very good now.

I'd say thats another feather in Bruce's cap.

You could have given a young kid learning the trade a chance to develop.

Brady showed tons of talent last season along with a lot of immaturity. All he needed was to grow up and be guided. He's done that, but he needed time and to be given a chance.

Must admit, I wasn't Brady's biggest fan last season. He was a frustrating little twat. But he has much improved this season and would happily have him here permanently

Josh King doesn't have a first touch though. Not sure that is something that can be trained.

Agree with that, I think it just shows how important it is for a young player to go to the right club/manager. Steve Bruce improves players FACT
