I watched the game between Newcastle and Chelsea, David Luiz should have got a straight red card in the first ten minutes. We all know that Newcastle are unlikely to finish in the top four this season, but I think they were robbed.
I can't believe that wasn't a red but Newcastle had plenty of chances to tie it up but failed to do so. Krul is immense by the way!
Considering Cahill has been sent off for Bolton for denying a goal scoring opportunity on the half way line, it does make you wonder how Luiz wasn't sent off. I think Newcastle were a bit unlucky, hitting the post a few times but both theirs and Chelsea's defences looks awful. If it wasn't for Krul Newcastle would have conceeded at least 6. Gives us a good chance to move up to 5th and close the gap on the top 4 now though.
Alex and Anelka granted transfer request by chelsea they are leaving in January. A'Arry goes for anything.
Newcastle have a decent CB pairing, when both fit, in Taylor and Collocini. Their wingbacks are both terrible though, and they were never gonna keep a clean sheet when Perch came on. Where's Santon anyway? Chelsea seem to chop and change their back 4 too often, and they need to replace Terry and Alex at the end of this season. And Cech too.
One of the best CB pairings Shame they're both ****ing injured now. Raylor was woeful today. Simpson offers nothing going forward but can come up with the goods on occasions. Surprised at how poor our defence was, considering how solid we've been all season, but it was mainly down to Ryan Taylor being crap and Colo going off so early. That, and the fact their last 2 goals were scored when Steven Taylor was injured and off the pitch. He was a complete rock as ever until that injury though. Looks like he'll be out for 6 weeks (which'd include our away game against you! Lucky bastards) Felt we were very unlucky, but Chelsea deserved the victory. Our worst performance of the season, no doubt.
