I think we’re seeing it differently though. I see it as a kick in the teeth for the fans. I also don’t see it as the boot on the other foot. A manager shouldn’t “sack” a club after a successful season. Should leave with grace and dignity. Guess it’s easy from where I’m sat.
I get that managers, like Warnock, get **** on, but Warnock was failing at Boro and Wilder has proven that (would’ve loved him here!!)
Managers don’t really get sacked without reason (except at Watford, ironically). Normally it’s because they’re failing. If they’re failing, the club should look at other options whilst weighing up the sacking. Good business sense really. I wish we had!
A club will not sack a manager when they’re winning the league. A manager may receive better offers however. I’d just want a manager who has been a relative success to his club to show a bit of respect to them.
