I was browsing through the CCMB (they occasionally have something interesting to say) and I found an article with a link to this: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/books/3559378/Roald-Dahl-young-tales-of-the-unexpected.html I only recently realised he was Welsh let alone a massive city fan.
Quaint recollections of bygone days. Wonder if OldSpark was at the game? Changes eh! They travelled on a big red bus to see the Blues. Now you can travel on a big blue bus to see the Reds.
Dahl went to The Cathedral School Llandaff , and was Christened in the Norwegian church in the bay , His book " Boy" is all about his early childhood in Cardiff & " Going Solo " is about his later years in the RAF during the WWII , I'm a massive fan of his and would tell anyone to check out those two books , adults and Kids . I will now wander off and be a nerd elsewhere
My brother had his wedding reception in the Norwegian church last year, bloody small but cracking venue.
