Redhill are now holding the Baton after beating Carshalton in the First Qualifying round, and are at home to Tonbridge Angels on 27th September. The winners will be 2 wins away from the First Round Proper.

    Focus on Tonbridge Angels:

The Angels are in the Isthmian League Premier Division (1 division above Redhill) after being relegated from the Conference South last term. They drew their final league match - with Havant & Waterlooville; a result that saw the hawks miss out on the promotion playoffs on goal difference - to eventual playoff winners Dover Athletic!
Stadium: Longmead Stadium - capacity 3,000 [760 seated]
They have reached the First Round Proper on five occasions, gaining replays on three occasions. Their most recent game in the First Round was against (Third Division [League One]) Charlton in 1972-73, when they went down 0-5 at home.

Random Fact: Former players include notable names such as Malcolm MacDonald, Ron Saunders and Roy Hodgson.

Aw, I like Tonbridge Angels, saw them twice against Farnborough. I was sad when they got relegated

Farnborough have Brackley away. By our standards that's a brilliant draw (was expecting H&W away) but it's still not fantastic. Weirdly, despite being regional at this stage, Farnborough (in the Conference South) are playing a Conference North side. Back in the day, I remember seeing Farnborough win 3-0 against Brackley in the Southern League (Premier Division I believe).

Elsewhere, Havant & Waterlooville are at home to Swindon Supermarine of the Southern League Division One south and West.
Newport (IW) (Wessex Premier) are away to Winchester City, from the same division.
Gosport Borough are away to Larkhall Athletic of the Southern league Division One South and West

2 days to go til the Cup games. With Pompey making the long trek to Hartlepool [credit to any-one making that journey) will any of you be going to your local non-league ground this week-end?

It finished Redhill 2-1 Tonbridge Angels, so Redhill keep hold of the baton into the 3rd Qualifying Round
