After an emphatic cup shock at the Rioch Stadium, Worcester City maintain ownership of the baton going into Round Two and their reward is another away tie against League One opposition in Scunthorpe Utd.

    Focus on Scunthorpe:

    Best FA Cup run:
    Round 5 in 1957-58 & 1969-70

    Last Season:
Went out in Round One after a replay with Conference side Grimsby Town

    Cup run so far:
Round One: Forest Green 0-2 Scunthorpe.

    Random Fact:
Scunthorpe's record crowd at their old Showground was 23,935 on 30th January 1954, for an FA Cup 4th Round tie against Pompey. Pompey eventually went through after a second replay.

No doubt our friends down the road will be keeping a close eye on events at the Merseyrail Community Stadium tomorrow, as Eastleigh take part in an all-conference tie against Southport, with the possibility of drawing Saints in Round Three!

Interesting fact: Portsmouth Ladies have won 7 FA Cup matches since the last time the men won an FA Cup game.

Chesterfield were found to have played an ineligible player against MK Dons and could have been thrown out of the competition. However the FA have decided that the tie will be replayed, so we currently have an 'either or' v either or' tie in Round Three.

Agony for Worcester after losing 14-13 on penalties.

So Scunny take the baton into a Round Three match that will be delayed, as Chesterfield and MK Dons have to re0run their 2nd Round tie on 2nd January.
