He's a 22 year old LB, fast, hard working and good on the ball. That's as much as my brief research revealed.
Hope wiki is wrong as he is about 5ft 6ins, and weighs ten stone. Fine strapping lad to guard the post at corners and flatten centre forwards.
Our 'fans' writing players off before they've even signed for us - because of his height and weight. I love being a Sunderland fan.
when I think of "small" left backs...Leighton Bains, Kenny Sansome, Ashley Cole.....yep, they were not too bad.
Him and Clarence Seedorf... imagine being somebody like Raul in training waiting for them two to get off the squat rack
£3.5m seems steep for a young left back from the Danish league. Has Marcos Alonso signed a new contract? Its a centre back and right back we need more anyhoo
Just looked. Alonso signed a new 5 year deal this month and Fiorentina look good for champions league this season so he'sout of the equation. This Durmisi guy doesn't sound what we need at all from reading up on him, a left winger converted to a left back....... Weve got PVA for that, we need defenders to defend. Any left back signing you'd think would be to push PVA further up the pitch
