Have we got any money for him?? If we did then not a bad thing - I felt a little sorry for him as he really didn't get chance here - maybe he was "one for the future" like McClean!!

With the cash they are on Marcus I think cutting the wage bill is as, if not more, important than a fee

Undisclosed fee, can't imagine it being much to be honest

He was 29 also so I doubt he would make such an impact

We got him free so i bet he was on a handsome penny here. Good move for all concerned. We could clear a good 200k a week off the wage bill by clearing gyan, Gordon, mccartney + whatevere rivers was on.

I reckon Garndner will be on about 30k. Rico was a Keano 45k job apparently so we could really have some cash to player with on wages and that could make the difference if we are going head to head with anyone.

It,s a shame watched him a few times playing For Paraguay prior to signing him and thought we were on to a winner.

Why would we get rid of Craig Gordon? He was outstanding on Saturday and is easily the best goalkeeper at the club.

Reckon Gordon will stay but on a reduced rate of pay. wouldn't get as much if he moved in anycase and he's always said he wants to stay, so win win.
