Riveros and Angeleri are set to leave Sunderland by James Hunter, Evening ChronicleApr 14 2012Comment (1) Recommend inShare 1Share on emailShare on print CRISTIAN RIVEROS and Marcos Angeleri could be on their way back to South America this summer. Sunderland boss Martin OâNeill has revealed that Angeleri is keen to revive his career back in his native Argentina, while a meeting has been scheduled with Riverosâ agent to discuss the Paraguayanâs future. Martin OâNeill admits he has not seen either player in match action since he took over in December, but is looking to clear the decks in order to begin bringing in his own signings over the summer. âMarcos has just come back [from injury] and heâs done a couple of daysâ training with us,â said OâNeill. âOver the last couple of weeks he has been out doing work with the physios on the training pitch, and in the last few days he has joined in training. âBut I heard talk while he was recuperating that he probably wanted to go back home again. I havenât sat down and spoken to him yet â there was little point until he got fit. âAs for Riveros, he has been out on loan this season and I often wonder whether it was the club that wanted that. âThere is a meeting with his agent here in the near future and Iâll see what happens there. âSometimes players feel that maybe a change of environment is what they want, and if thatâs the case then we will look at it in that manner.â Read More http://www.chroniclelive.co.uk/
