http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/fo...Copa-Libertadores-clash-against-San-Jose.html Seems like a valid point I suppose, but surely there is a different substance they can use in the 'cocktail'
When you look at that clip of the atmosphere there I do wonder what their fans think when they see Premier League games and 90% of the stadium sitting on their hands as if waiting for a bus.
Yes, but when was the last time you heard of English fans invading the pitch and killing an opposition player? Argentinians regularly behave like ****ing animals. Well, their football supporters do.
No no, you're right. Whats the odd death if it means some fireworks and loud noises to add to the atmosphere?
No, I'm saying that suggesting players being killed and fans who are ****ing mental, even more than our worst periods in the 70s and 80s, is better than a soulless atmosphere is a load of bollocks.
Ok, I don't follow the crowd and I don't give you as much stick or **** as some of the others on here do Bummers, but stop been ****.
How am I being "a ****"? You claimed that some unnamed person suggested "players being killed is better than a soulless atmosphere" and I asked who said this?
The deaths aren't caused by the fireworks or the loud noise in the stadium. Any instances of 39 people being killed by fans charging at other ones? How many died at this game? Bearing in mind PC Corcoran gets City fans banned for 3 years for one flare. There are also streamers all over the place. Yet here one flare can supposedly cause death by asphyxiation, set off asthma attacks with the potential of conflagration and people being trampled to death in the ensuing stampede. Also, look at their equivalent of our West .stand. And notice that there are no roofs on 3 sides. Doesn't seem to be a problem causing noise. No nonsense about lack of noise because the acoustics are poor. There is noise because a lot of people are joining in. That stadium is same capacity as City. Only a friendly as well.
