    http://www.liverpoolfc.com/news/have-you-seen/rivals-fans-on-2012-13

This is on the club site every year, always interesting to see what other fans think. Although I don't really care as I think we'll win everything every year.

With the new Barclays Premier League season about to get underway this weekend, fans all over the country are busy making their predictions and setting targets for the forthcoming campaign.

Whether it's a top four finish, relegation survival or even a full-blown title challenge, every supporter will have their own dreams and aspirations for where they want their side to be come May 2013.

Liverpoolfc.com asked one fan from each Premier League side to answer a series of questions about their club and their ambitions for the season.

We also asked them to tell us who they think will occupy the top four and relegation spots come the end of the campaign as well as which grounds are the best to visit for away matches, which Premier League player particularly gets under their skin and who will be their star man over the next eight months.

    Arsenal fan Matthew Burnham.

Happy with your summer's work? I am always deeply suspicious when the club starts throwing money about. So it comes as no surprise that our sudden interest in top quality forwards was because a certain Robin van Persie was clearly causing problems behind the scenes. Santi Cazorla is a plus, although very few Arsenal fans have seen him perform regularly. If Alexandre Song or others leave, we will have stood still rather than moved forward. Which is what we like to do, generally.

How popular is your gaffer? He's regarded by approximately half our fan base as a modern day football messiah. Then there's an increasing number that have grown extremely tired of his bizarre doublespeak and stubbornness. He's becoming more and more Marmite every year.

Player to watch? Gervinho. Wenger has a record of turning these types of players into the full package in their second or third year.

You love to hate... The list of comedy villains who have forsaken Arsenal in search of fame and success grows longer every year, and it looks likely our captain will be joining it eventually.

Top 4 in order? Chelsea, Man City, Man Utd, Us.

Relegated? West Ham. They love being relegated. It justifies their existence. They only get promoted so they can be relegated the year after. Maybe Wigan. And I'll go for Norwich.

Favourite away trip? I'm afraid I'm too old/poor to go away any more. You should try paying Emirates prices for 20 games a season.

Dream season? Abramovich gets bored and jacks it in, likewise the Man City oil sheiks. Football goes into a sort of terminal economic collapse and reverts to 1989.

What does your head say? Er, 4th place.

    Manchester United fan Dan Sprague.

Happy with your summer's work? Not really. But then I never am. Every year it's rumoured we're going to get Wesley Sneijder, Robin van Persie etc. but predictably, we don't.

How popular is your gaffer? He's the embodiment of Manchester United. As a United supporter, how could you not worship him? Think about this - 12 of United's total of 19 league titles have been won under him. Every season journalists write him and his team off, but he keeps on delivering.

Player to watch? I wouldn't mind seeing a bit more from Anderson. Hopefully Darren Fletcher will be back and add some much needed quality to the midfield. Also, look out for a young lad we've got called Ryan Giggs.

You love to hate... I'm a lover not a hater; Team GB and all that.

Top 4 in order? United, City, Chelsea, Arsenal.

Relegated? In no particular order: Wigan, QPR, Southampton.

Favourite away trip? Sorry to do this, but Goodison. Seriously. It's just an old fashioned ground, with a good atmosphere. Villa Park's also pretty good.

    Dream season? 1999. The treble.

What does your head say? We're not good enough to win the Champions League. Maybe we can win the Premier League, but I think City will be very strong again. Who knows? I'm constantly surprised by how well we do considering the club's financial situation.

Have to share the same dream season as the Arsenal fan...

With the aim of top 4, we look at Arsenal as being the team to overthrow. But really, I'm sure most of us would rather see City **** off back to where they were before and earn their right to be a top team. I would much rather see ourselves, United, Arsenal, Spurs and Newcastle fighting at the top.

Hell I'd rather see Chelsea up there without all the oil money, they were a decent team before RA took over. Fair enough, having owners with money isn't a bad thing, as long as it's used ethically... inject it into the academy, bring players through the ranks and buy a couple of top players. You don't have to buy players like it's FIFA and give them £200k a week before they've even kicked a ball for your club FFS.

Some of them are delirious as ****. Like the liverpool fan who thinks we will get 4th. I counted at least three who put chelsea outside the top 4 too. And of course the deluded Utd fan who thinks they'll win the league. Where do they find these "fans"?

How is it hard to believe Liverpool will finish top 4 or Chelsea will finish outside? This is football, anything can happen.

Because our squad isn't good enough, and Chelsea's is probably second best in the league after city. This is reality. There is no drama in football anymore, it's predictable. Top four is easy, bottom 6/7 is easy then the rest get filled in randomly.

Chelsea have the second best squad? They are an aging team who just lost their best striker, not to mention their first choice defender is facing charges of racial abuse and could miss up to 8 games. Did you call Newcastle climbing so high last season consideing the previous season they finished 12th?

Football is dramatic and always will be.

Name me a better squad other than city's. And yes, I did predict Newcastle int he top 6 last year. Football used to be a hell of a lot less predictable than it is now, if you can't see that then I can't be bothered arguing with someone so blinkered.

Predicting it on the final day of the season doesn't count. Some things in football have been pretty predictable but you can't always get it right. There are moments you will never predict. Did you predict Liverpool would win the Champions League in 05?

As for who is better than Chelsea, I believe Arsenal, Liverpool, Man Utd and maybe Tottenham all have better squads than Chelsea. Chelsea have some great individual players, but individuals don't win games, the whole team does.

Wow, you really are mental. Arsenal and Utd are closer to Chelsea, but we and Spurs certainly aren't as good squadwise.

We have one of the best defences in the league. With our reinforcements up front and bolstering our midfield, I can easily picture us climbing the table and possibly into a top 4 slot.

No way. We still lack the penetration needed to beat strong teams. We haven't had a real test yet, even Leverkusen was a weak team, mostly subs and youth players. I think against teams like Stoke, Fulham etc we will struggle as they will just park the bus and we'll get nowhere. We are better than last season, admittedly, but still not quite there. I'm basing this on the current squad by the way, if we can get some more creativity in the team from Dempsey/Tello/Sahin etc then maybe we can scrape 5th. But even with those players 4th is out of the question for me. Not being pessimistic, being REAListic.

It's only your opinion that your being realistic, you could be wrong and the squad may perform better than you think. Being realistic about football is difficult as there are so many random factors that can blow theories stats and analysis out of the water.

If we get a couple more players in and Rodgers methods click faster than expected then we may surprise a few or you may be right and we'll stay out of the top 4.

I'm more of a blind faith man we'll win the league and I'll stick with that untill the points say otherwise.

14.22 BST It's thought Kevin Mirallas is very close to completing a move from Greek giants Olympiakos to Everton - the striker is believed to be set for a medical on Merseyside at some point in the next 24 hours.
