OH the irony..............Defoe goes to Sunderland who we play at the weekend....Defoe always scores on his debut..........................He's been training with us to keep fit.

Gareth Bale was apparently jeered off the pitch when subbed, because he didn't pass the ball to Ronaldo at one point.
This is despite Real winning 3-0 against Espanyol, only having 10 men for a big chunk of the game and scoring this goal:

Bale just passed to CR7 who headed it in. 2-2 on the night. ATM lead 4-2 on aggregate.

2 really poor errors from their defence put them out tonight, both well taken by Torres, mind. Real miss Modric for big games like these, Kroos and Isco can't get the pace of the game up like he can.

Barcelona just have incredible depth in their squad. 3-0 up away against Elche at half time and it could've easily been more, especially since Elche should've really gone down to 10 men.

Roberto and Mathieu scored a couple of crackiong goals too.

Sherwood to QPR and Balotelli back to Italy. The first one sounds good but the second? I doubt there will ever be anything right for him. One City fan on another site said that he's "A total headbanger" and I totally agree.

Burnley don't give a crap about the new manager effect.
2-0 up against Palace.

Game over in Swansea, as Costa nets their second.

Southampton go ahead.... are they the real deal ? Will they stay the course this season? if not us would love if it was them in the top 4

They are the real deal. Solid defence - which is surprising when you look at the names on the teamsheet. But they are all playing out of their skin. A few defensive injuries might change things though as they don't have the biggest squad.
