Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe we've had precisely 0 penalties the entire year, including, merely to mention the latest one, the non-call on a blatant shirt grab on Ade in the area against Everton.
All the neutrals and pundits are saying poor decision. Gooner saying it was right. Wonder why?
Nah that's Warnock saying that, he was nowhere near it though, it was at the far side of a crowded area from him but some players gave a half hearted appeal, I think.
The real mess was the corner being given in the first place, Snodgrass(I think) was shielding the ball got barged over making no contact with the ball in the process and the lino gave a corner. He couldn't have even seen any contact if there was some because the Arsenal player falling over was blocking his view.
That's the way it goes sometimes, as much as I think the lino's a cheat, Arsenal were pressuring and did well to overturn the scoreline. Now lets hope we start getting some luck![]()
I'm saying there's justification on the penalty decision, while most are complaining that most of those aren't called in other games.
While that might be true, I'd rather the game goes in the direction where the rules are the rules in any situation, and not leave it up to the discretion of the referees when not to give them.

He's probably right in saying that had the incident occurred at the other end of the pitch, it would never have been given...

I don't think any other lino in the league thinks he's in a position to make that penalty call regardless of who it went to. Jones should've shown more backbone and said he saw the situation and there was nothing in it.
Which top table team has conceded more "soft" penalties than Arsenal in the last 2-3 seasons? We have been on the other end of this type of call quite a few times.

An English ref showing backbone? A frog has more
Apparently there's a bunch of Millwall fans planning to follow up the FA Cup semi final by going into central London and beating up any anti-Thatcher protesters - in other words, justifying Thatcher's opinion that all football fans are thugs and should be made to carry mandatory ID cards.
****ing morons...
True. But that's Millwall for you. They've been at it for 50 odd years now, so I doubt things will change anytime soon. They were smashing Mickey Purser's showroom windows when I was still at school..

The difference, again, between us and Arsenal is that they can score goals and we cannot (without Bale). They also seem to have a belief that they should be winning games, which we lack.
If they want to smash something, why not smash that plastic lion somebody bought at Homebase that adorns one corner of their stadium?
