No doubt Chelsea will say that 2 penalties were denied but the ref made good decisions with both. Neither time was the Chelsea player touched.
From what I've seen of all the PL teams in the CL games is that you get your opportunities against all of them, lots of them. Chances used to be few and far between. Sloppy losses of possession too, its made for an interesting start to the season.
From a quick scan of the Chelsea team I make the money spent on their starting line up to be about £190-200mill. I only saw the second half but I don't think a side that spent that much should be getting played off the park by a team that cost half that.
We were never two goals better than Juve, I haven't seen the pen incidents on TV but neither looked clear cut. Not like in the QPR game.

We weren't played off the park by Juve at any stage, what game were you watching? As it can't have been ours
Uniteds side was as expensively assembled and could only get a dubious 1-0 win v Galatasaray
Afraid that's football, Swansea can play half the teams in our league off the park and their side cost nothing... (there are many other examples)

United were terrible by their standards YV, the amount of times their passing went astray and the turks just didn't take their chances on the counter, the point is that they were allowed to get to Uniteds penalty box. No-one wants to take a penalty, RVP leaving it to Nani who made a right bollox of it. Carbon copy miss with that useless stop/start run up.

Chelsea were bloody lucky AGAIN. A deflection and Juve hit the woodwork in the final minute or two. So what's their goal tally of penalties,deflections and offsides? I've lost count now.

I hope not,that means that their luck might just click in again against us. It was that which stopped us taking our earned place in the CL. People seem to forget that we are a top 4 club.

Normally top 4 means CL doesn't it and we did enough to get there didn't we? Never forget to those who wum us that we are a top 4 club. Now,the thing I'd dearly love to see is AVB ramming it all back down Chelsea's throat.
We certainly did, sorry if you misundersood me. I was slighting those that say we aren't top 4 with my "apparently", not you!
Its hard to remember we are top 4 as its been ingrained in our subconciouses for the last 15years that "top 4" = CL.
Ok Spurm,I've been onto their board to remind them how lucky they were again last night,they don't agree. Chelsea are a top 6 club,we are a top 4 and I shall remind them of that as often as possible.
