Beautiful touch by Eze, nice finish by Zaha.

I have a feeling the latter might finally get his wish late on in this window. Said I’d have taken him before we signed Richarlison but I think there could be openings at Chelsea and Arsenal if they make a bid, possibly one or two European clubs too.
Vieira seems to be building quite a decent team there though, think Palace could be a bit of a dark horse this season.

Who's the young lad Jack Clarke sunderland have , we should keep tabs on him

Often felt there was a player in there. Don’t think we handled him too well, both with lack of minutes and poor choice of loans (until Sunderland). Think he’ll be a Prem player within a couple years, whether that be with Sunderland or not.

I know Nunez scored, but I really wasn't impressed. The BBC tagline saying Nunez "stars" in the match IMHO is completely wrong, or I was watching a completely different match. No I'm not drawing conclusions on one match. But if I was, and it was based in the match I saw, Liverpool were good, Nunez wasn't.

I'd like to see what lead up to that, as it seemed to be off the back of an injury.
The ball's played up to him, he's unchallenged by the defender and deliberately "puts it out".
The player getting treated in the initial shot also suggests this.

Very ****ty behaviour if true and he should've been booked.
The linesman's behaviour was also rather strange.
Probably should've said something, though he does appear to speak just before it's picked up.

Looks like Chelsea’s hijacked City’s move for Cucurella. Unlucky, Pep, lol.

City fans having a meltdown on Twitter because they’ve not got their own way for once <laugh> honestly, look at this crap. What a bunch of spoiled, entitled crybabies;

I wonder if Barca are going to gazump them again? He was a Barca player, after all.

Bloody deserved it for once again trying to plead poverty

Brighton said £50m, so he offered £30m and expected Cucurella to do the rest of the work for him. Prick

Yes Fraudiola is a dick. But also I say again (and again) the Chelsea budget makes no sense at all. To all intents and purposes they don't seem to be much different than under Uncle Roman (with the exception that Tuchel might have been sacked). The club only worked previously because of massive cash injections and I don't see what they've done to balance the budget, plus they paid billions to buy the thing. They are really not behaving like "American owners" at all. Surely they are already heading for an almighty financial loss? None of it makes any sense.

Hopefully we can sit back and wait for the great implosion when things go wrong on and off the field

"Wonderful, we are going trophy less this season"

Tough crowd on Haaland after only one competitive English game.
