I kind of guessed that going off the teams involved but there still seemed a lot missing.
What's with the North/South divide thing, is it new or have I just ignored/missed it in the past?
Makes some sense. Who wants to travel the length of the country for a Carabao Cup game on a midweek evening?

Norwich in the South and Aston Villa in the North.........don't they have a map?
Have they tilted the country so that the South coast is flat across the bottom or something? Strange choice.
Got to draw the line somewhere, of course, but that doesn't make any sense.

Lucky that Norwich didn't draw Plymouth. As it is Cambridge to Swansea is a bit of a trek. If their objective was to mimimise travelling it would be better to put Leicester and Villa in the South and Norwich and Cambridge in the north.

I wonder if,one day, they will bring back Div 3 South and Div 3 North?

It's been a common misconception for a long time that Birmingham is north of Norwich.
It's a strange myth that Norwich is a southern city; it's anything but. Probably started by the same idiots who think Brexit means the UK will no longer be part of Europe <doh>

I bet the tv people are hoping for a 6-6 draw and then that wonderful penalty game. Have a replay. Remember Man C v Spurs and Ricky Villa?

If it stays 1-1,chop the cup in half. Liverpool and Chelsea are sincere pot hunters and they can get half each!
