PSV Eindhoven have been eliminated from the Champions League by Basel, going out on away goals after drawing 4-4 on aggregate.
That'll probably have repercussions for their squad, both in terms of finances and players wanting to leave.
Lozano and Bergwijn are probably the main targets.

Just had a vision of Levy paying PSV a visit like a LA rioter with a TV in a shopping trolley and going through their player list, wishful thinking

What was the question : who owns Man Utd ??
No wonder they moved on swiftly.
I honestly can't remember, something about a 5 point letter being sent to the owners by some fan group, he only asked what they thought about the questions, the presenter heard something in his ear, it all got very awkward and then the man was quickly silenced and it went all "move along nothing to see here" stylee

750m spent in total to date to service the Glazer debt
(caused by the "debt leverage" deal they used to take over Man Utd) .

There cannot be that much left to pay off, given that there has only been
6 yrs of post Fergie era. Unless of course, the Jose era spending has been
added to the bill ...

£44m has gone on paying off the debt. The rest is interest, apparently:

1. That is shocking IMHO, given the period of success during the Glazer era.

2. As Man Utd is a PLC, how can there be questions about what the money has
been spent on (there should be forensic scrutiny of their financial reports by
institutional shareholders etc) ??

This would appear to be standard US practice with regard to UK companies. Trump can't wait to asset strip the UK further with the help of self serving PM Johnson. Two recent examples WH Smith and Boots both are being asset stripped by US takeovers. You can see the decline as their stores lack investment. They will of course blame it on Brexit as will many others. Then Brexit will really kick in adding to the decline. Man U will be the least of your worries.

Not sure W H Smith have any assets to strip, unless you count 10 boxes of Tippex and 3 Barbara Cartland books.
