They have won a trophy this season and might yet win another. Worth acknowledging before we get too critical.
Wasn't being critical of Utd - only of the 'media' making lame excuses for them when a) they don't need it and b) they have all the resources in the world to be able to provide almost equal replacements for even their top players. Unlike some clubs - or one in particular- much closer to home.......

We don't have disciplinary problems, unlike yourselves - you are currently bottom of the fairplay table (based on all matches) whereas we are 4th and have not had a single player sent off all season.
Yet some (maybe 1 :bandit:) people are becrying the fact you had 2 important players suspended for a couple of important games last season?

Pretty sure City can match us resource wise

I get what you are saying but that doesn't take into account the fact that all other teams have injuries or that United have spent over £170m this season to strengthen. Also successful teams play 2 matches week in week out.

However 2 trophies and CL qualification is a good season imo.
What would your view be IF United do not qualify for the CL?
The season's always going to be judged by the final league position.
So it's disappointing whatever happens.
Winning two trophies and qualifying for the CL is a great consolation .
Winning the EFL Cup and missing out on CL is very little consolation. Van Gaal did better last season.

As per usual, while you can understand the individual words in front of you, you completely fail to understand the meaning of the entire sentence.

So we agree then, not really something to whinge about <ok> :emoticon-0100-smile
...so maybe don't whinge about Cantona being suspended and other players getting injured during his suspension? It makes you look as capable of sticking to a position as Theresa May.

Cut it however you choose, United have been fairly wretched this season. The football's been turgid. Some very expensive signings have been ordinary at best and woeful regularly. Mourinho's been very poor in terms of leadership and progressing the club.

Ibrahimovic was overplayed, leading to Rashford and Martial stagnating. Fellaini shouldn't have any place in a top 4 team. Various squad players have been thrown under the bus. They've achieved the ultimate in meaningless records by going 23 unbeaten with half of those games as draws. It's all about wins, Stupid!

Frankly, it's back to the drawing board next season. Bailly looks to have potential, as does Rashford. Herrera does a job (no matter how much I hate him). De Gea is great but probably leaving. The rest? Meh! They're not 5th/6th for no reason.

I never did and never will, I didn't bring Cantona into this I just pointed out the similarities of the situation being whinged about.
Keep trying with that sentence thing <ok> :emoticon-0100-smile

Nah, season 1, see what you have and what they can do.
Season 2 replace the dead wood and win the league <ok>

Tbf to mourinho i think he was copying your unbeatables tactic in the first half of the season when you were going through your invincibles but lots of drawing phase

Spurs in first half of the season,

Undefeated tick
Had loads of draws tick
Didnt play their attractive style as they do now as he didnt know how to play dier and wanyama in midfield and no kane tick

Pretty similar to mourinhos undefeated run.
