Ritchie De Laet left the field of play clutching his chest tonight. No-one seemed to be around him when he went down. Hopefully nothing serious, but we all remember what happened to Clive Clarke. Pearson said something alone the lines of "I don't want to over-blow it, but then I don't want to underplay it either." - translation, he's not sure what it is yet. Here's hoping he's alright.
I'll answer my own question!: "yes all is good I just strained a muscle around the heart that's where the pain came from just got me worried that's all"
On the radio (I couldn't get to the game) Stringer was anxious about it and they sent someone to investigate. Apparently the club said he was 'fine'.
I heard bits of the Pearson interview, that's what got me concerned! So it was just Stringer making an issue out of nothing for a change...
Not really, at the time he said he saw people with defibs and paramedics running down the tunnel but as soon as it was cleared up he dropped the subject.
no chances are taken with chest pains these days. the run he went on to set up another waghorn miss was truly outstanding...he played well tonight..why he got booked for having a quick word with kasper before the penalty is beyond me.. joke..
