    @OfficialFOXES: BREAKING: #lcfc defender @de_laet_r has signed a new four-year deal. Full story - http://t.co/hNWhO9aKdq #delaetlcfc http://t.co/XSSPKmw822

    Only Anthony Knockaert left now

    If the worse case scenario happens we have all our key players on long term deals which means they will stay or we get top dollar for them giving us a great chance to bounce back

    We have shown we have the abilty to be in this league, just a case of finding the consistency

    Think this is great news, young, quick and his best days still ahead of him.

    Long contracts aren't always necessarily a good thing. We've had plenty of players in recent years, eg DJ Campbell, Paul Gallagher, Neil Danns etc. who've been on long, well-paid contracts who've suddenly decided they don't want to play any more or have a horrible drop in form, then we have to keep paying them. However, I don't think this will happen with De Laet. The jury's out over whether he's good enough for this division, but I think he's showing signs of improvement and always gives his all in a City shirt.

    HAs Danny Simpson got a game yet?

    Few were saying on here weeks ago that he should have got his opportunity by now?

    He's played about half an hour. Ritchie De Laet has been one of our better players going forward but a liability at times defensively so I'm surprised Simpson hasn't had more of a look in
