I don't want to disrespect anyone on such a thread, but you have deliberately mentioned other posters being "copper bashers". Respect for two young women who were brutally murdered does not mean, unfortunately, that the various miscarriages of justice that were highlighted on other threads magically didn't happen.
Merely pointing the every day duties of their job. Not meant to be contentious but maybe give people food for thought to realise the dangers of their routine work. Oc asionally they get it wrong but they face the possibility daily of being attacked because of who they are or what they represent.
OK mate, point taken. I never come on this board for a fight - well sometimes with the worst Mags - and anything provoking honest discussion and giving food for thought is to be welcomed.
As a human being i'd like to pass on my sincere condolences to the families and friends of the two WPC's tragically murdered yesterday. As a Liverpool supporter i'd ask the OP to kindly not get the wrongdoings of 23yrs ago and yesterday's murders mixed up, thank you.
Very sad to hear this news and hopefully the scum who did this is locked up for the rest of his life.
It was in reference to a thread on page 1 where people were sharing stories about police experiences they have had, but no matter this ain't a thread for arguing
