RIP Trevor Francis. An idol of mine growing up and always came across as a decent bloke. A real shock
Went to see Sunderland play at Birmingham when he just got into the team....he was 16 and had a hell of a game....think Birmingham won 3 - 0 that day.
You could see even then he had superstar material. What I liked most was that he wasn't full of his own sh*t. RIP lad......gone to early but you left the pitch with humility and grace......god bless.

The fact a certain Mr. Clough paid £1m for him says everything about his ability.
