A modern day poet, I doubt any of you will have heard of him.

Guitarist and writer of Magnum a midland based Band.Magnum have produced 23 albums since the seventies and were still going strong.

Some of his lyrics were nothing short of poetry, they certainly meant a lot to a much younger me.

Following a short illness, he died peacefully surrounded by his girls on Sunday 7th January 2024.

RIP mate <rose><rose><rose>

I had an album by Magnum.
Back in the 80s and early 90s I collected tape albums, rather than vinyl - so I could play the cassettes in my car. My Magnum album was one of those - and I’m not sure where all those tapes are now. I think I must have ditched them when I moved from Bishopsworth to Swindon back in 97.
RIP Tony <rose>
