Always makes me think of the Frost Report. David Frost, "Apparently one third of the world's population is either Chinese or a communist. Something to think about next time you are watching the Beverley Sisters".
Human rights lawyer Sir Bob Hepple has died. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/p...-pioneering-human-rights-lawyer-10483902.html
Very sad news indeed Stanley, I was fortunate to have seen him live a couple of times, a true ska legend.
RIP David Taylor......as the Isle of Mann TT course claims another victim........the Sheffield rider died after a crash during the Senior Classic TT on Friday
Surprised that circuit is still allowed to be used in this age of ridiculous health and safety. It's illegal to lift a box of semi moderate weight on your own yet its ok to bomb round country lanes and villages at 200mph with a brick wall as a run off. Mental. Not that I want to see it closed, but it should be. Kills far too many. Modern bikes are far too fast for it.
I'm pleased to say it & the Irish Road Races are not.......ask any rider....they know & accept the risks....it's good that the safety bonkers conkers brigade have not managed to stop it.....& the latest rider wasn't on a modern bike...it was the classic TT Better to die doing something you enjoy than as a senile cabbage in a nursing home
