Always remember having a few issues with his reporting, but that doesn't detract from my regret at his early passing. Condolences to all that knew him.
He just disappeared off the back pages? Always wondered why. Sure I heard a rumour he’d starting writing books but never heard about him after he stopped reporting on the city for the WM. I did enjoy his reports; good balance of realism, sarcasm and honesty. He was a bluebird through and through.
