My memory of Jimmy Adamson is from one match when he was Leeds manager and we got stuffed (by whom and by how many I can't remember). In a press interview he was asked later if he had seen the game on MOTD, to which he replied 'No'. In the days before videos of games etc being plentiful, this seemed to me to be a catastrophic error of judgement and probably contributed to his short tenure as manager of Leeds United.
Like many players and managers the expectation level at Leeds is intense and like many others Jimmy was no exception However he did a great job at Burnley where he was a legend R.I.P
