Sorry to hear about your Dad mate.
Share your hopes for a cure soon.
We will need there to be one given that it’s a ticking timebomb and the lack of investment until recently.

As a kid there were a number of things that I hated about him - being a jock who played for Leeds and Man U, but I thought he was a great player - hard as nails, committed, but not dirty.

He was someone who was a great reader of the game and, with him being very well spoken, he was an excellent pundit.

Rest in Peace, a great loss.

Know the feeling mate dealing with it now with my mother, she's now I a care home as my dad died just over a year ago. No-one who hasn't witnessed it will ever understand what it's really like.
I was probably one of those arsehloes that would probably make a joke about it, till you experience it yourself.
Probably one of the worst diseases about, its like my mother has already died yet I have to watch her suffer as a stranger, heartbreaking

God bless your mom. My dad had died long before he died. My heart goes out to you. Time as they say is a great healer. The pain fades and all the happy memories of her will be often crossing your mind. Look for your inner strength and be strong. You will be in my thoughts. Best LA
