    posting this to pay tribute to a bloke I grew up listening to practice in my Grandmas house! My uncle played drums in Goldie



    Not sure if any on here know who he was or is but this is the band on TOTP in 1978. Number 7 in the charts. Dave Black was the lead guitarist. He was also a guy in my line of work doing pubs and clubs in the north east.

    RIP to your old pal mate.

    Staying at Hard Rock here in Mexico Diddles and there's two great looking drum sets exhibited in the lobby, amongst other items such as a Guitar that belonged to Slash - I think of you every time I walk past the drum sets!

    Easy to talk to. No airs and graces. Nice lad.
