Seems incredible that a simple infection couldn't be cured. Obviously not that simple, but still .......

When I read that Criselliam had been euthanized because of a poisoned foot, I expect to find a thread that had been started by PNkt, but clearly Janabelle13 beat her to it.

She did put up the best two performances by a juvenile filly last term and was a worthy favourite for the 1000 Guineas. Naturally Willie Carson and her other owners must be devastated. Charlie Hills must have been dreaming of the possibility of Classic success right at the beginning of his training career.

The 1000 Guineas betting looks wide open now with many of the market leaders having question marks against their two-year-old form and/or pedigree questions about the Rowley mile trip. I wonder whether Ihtimal, vanquished by Chriselliam in the Fillies’ Mile but winner of the UAE 1000 Guineas recently, might be the one.

I would like to see Lesstalk In Paris come to Newmarket as I thought that she was probably the best filly in the Prix Marcel Boussac, although finishing second to Indonesienne; however, I expect that Jean-Claude Rouget will send her to Longchamp for the Pouliches as I think she would have to be supplemented to cross the Channel.
