Tragedy as Hull City fan Alan Obridge dies just hours after watching Tigers at Wembley please log in to view this image FOR Alan Obridge, watching his beloved Hull City play in the FA Cup final at Wembley was a dream come true. Tragically, less than two hours after returning home, the season pass-holder for most of the 65 years he had followed the Tigers, collapsed and died at his east Hull home from a suspected heart attack. Despite having undergone surgery to fit two stents 48 hours earlier, the 71-year-old father-of-one had insisted on joining the 25,000-strong black-and-amber faithful at Wembley on Saturday. http://www.hulldailymail.co.uk/Trag...ory-21118311-detail/story.html?#ixzz32L5zORRt
Very sad, however when it's my time to go I can't think of anything better than ending on such a great day. Sounds like he was a proper supporter RIP
RIP Allan .... I hope your family can take some comfort from how you got to see HULL CITY play in the fa cup final . ..... ( hope your doing fine Mr Ben ...you better be or else ! )
Wouldn't surprise me if Alan knew exactly the risk he was taking doing what he did when he did, and decided to live his life on the front foot instead of looking over his shoulder and regretting he never went. Well done Alan RIP
