    Not really.

London got hit, so did Birmingham.

Just another City, just another riot.

It started of in Tottenham London a couple of days ago after a peaceful protest by family and supporters of an innocent young man shot dead by the police, but the looters and rioters just used the protest as an excuse to run amok.

It's now spread to most parts of London and the other places i mentioned, the main targets are mobile phone shops, jewelers and electrical product stores.

Ahh ok, seems a strange reason especially as usually peaceful riots stay that way. Luckily the US is huge and so any rioting that is not in the area doesn't really spread. Last time it was bad was I think Rodney King or possibly the OJ verdict? Not much since then, but then again we send tanks and all that out.

It happened here in the 80's when most major cities and towns endured riots in protest at the government of the day and police harrassment, but these rioters are doing it because they can get expensive clothes, mobile phones and new TV's for nothing.

I've heard some Tuesday games have been postponed and a decision is to be made on the England game. Any news on whether this will affect the premier league games?

Love the tanks idea! Problem is that as well as out Police force being understaffed the military are also overstretched.

i think any game sin london this weekend must be in risk at this point as the police required at grounds simply will not be fit to play their part.... like a utd player just before a midweek international friendly....
