riots in soton?

keep hearing about stuff kicking off in southampton... isit true? the job center got some glass smashed....

 

The job centre did get smashed up. I dont think it has any connection to the riots though.

 

Rumour has it Southampton has now been hit, I was in town earlier and was told by someone that it had started up at Bedford Place but I do not know if this is true!

I have also heard that the Jobcentre has been targeted again today after the failed arson attack last night and police are crawling through town followed by the bomb squad!!!

Has anyone seen anything and verify this or is it just rumour at the moment

 

Doubt if any rioters would know where the job centre is. Name would frighten them away.

 

hmm theres a blackberry broadcast going about saying theres a riot starting at 4pm and sayin ''lets show these londoners how its done''

 

In all fairness sotonsaint I think it will all be to do with the riot! The jobcentre is a main place in town and unforunately/fotunately dependin on which way you look at it it's only 5 minutes from the centre so alot easier to attack it than for example the hospital.

No truth in these rumours whatsoever. I know someone who works in Bedford Place, and they tell me it's absolutely normal there.
