    Sure he hasnt been first choice the last couple games because he has looked poor. Still, lets say he is their first choice sub, I would rather they have to bring on their 2nd choice sub. It only makes sense that it will hurt them, plus he is a veteran. I would rather they not have him in the dressing room at all (unless he is a disruption but I never go that impression about him)

    You just cannot understand his mentality, he is retiring at the end of the season, and the likelihood he will want to further his media career, and then he comes out with something like this, is hardly going to enhance his chance of continuing his TV aspirations. What a tosser.

    Rio Ferdinand has been handed a 3 match Premier League Ban for comments made on social network site , in addition to a heavy personal fine. Adding further problems to the ranks of the troubled & underperforming club. I don't know what was tweeted, but surely temptation is greater than wisdom.

    It's ridiculous. He gets some abuse off a trolling tosspot on Twitter and gives a bit back. A bit silly, and the word he used ("sket") was ill-advised, but how the **** can they suspend him for this?
