Is he Harry's Number two?!............................ looking at pics from Germany, looks like he is doing some coaching or at least telling Harry how to do it?. Hopefully HR then can get rid of the clowns around him..........

Rio's input with regards to defensive tactics could be very helpful imo.

With Wally gone perhaps Rio is helping out on the defensive coaching side of things, shows he has the respect of the team already, a good sign...

I read an article with quotes from Harry that the negotiations were on going with Rio in regards to his future roll at the club, obviously this was before he signed, but it certainly indicated that the idea behind signing him had more to do with after his playing career was over. He certainly has the experience and was taught by the best in the business.

It would also seem that he really is the attraction for young players to sign such as Caulker, as was stated by all when we were trying to persuade him to sign. A mate of mines next door neighbour is a barber who cuts lots of footballers hair, he apparently cut Caulkers recently and he'd said that Palace had offered him 5k more a week to sign for them, Caulker said he wasn't going to join us. But then we sign Rio and he decides to come to us. So hopefully he wont let us down on the field, but it's what else he brings that will help the club.

Rio is a good signing on so many levels off the pitch...

Remember what happened at Chelsea once they signed Ruud Gullit....!

Seems a good pro and has my support. <ok>
